COURSE DETAILS
This program trains individuals to effectively assist in pharmaceutical preparations and complete daily required tasks in any pharmacy environment, although on the job training is still a part of pharmacy training.
The class introduces students to various pharmacy practice settings and covers drug classes, basic physiology, drug interactions and pharmacy calculations.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there should be more than 70,700 new openings for pharmacy technicians by the year 2022. That amounts to nearly 20% employment growth, much faster than the average for all professions!
This position has a lot of room for upward mobility and is a great stepping stone for anyone interested in going to pharamacy school.
